About

This podcast exists to explain liver disease for real life, confront stigma, and make space for conversations most people never get to have until something goes wrong.

We're starting open conversations.

Liver health, without the gatekeeping. The Mind Your Liver™ Podcast is a space for real conversations about liver health and liver disease, told in a way people can actually relate to. We talk openly about what it means to mind your liver.

Mind Your Liver™ covers how the liver works, what puts it at risk, and how liver disease shows up in everyday life. We talk about liver function, symptoms, risks, and conditions, including liver disease in young adults and lifestyle related liver stories that are often overlooked.

Conversations also explore how emotional distress can lead to coping patterns like alcohol use or overeating, which can strain the liver and contribute to liver inflammation over time. We talk about lived experience, healing after stage 4 liver cirrhosis, alcohol use disorder, mental well-being, nutrition, and the realities people are navigating every day.

Our Values

Inclusivity

We welcome every voice. Liver health is a human issue. It’s not defined by race, gender, religion, background, or identity. Everyone deserves to be part of this conversation.

Openness

We believe in honesty, transparency, and asking the questions others avoid. Nothing is off-limits when it comes to saving lives.

Kindness

Judgment has no place here. We lead with compassion, knowing how hard the journey can be — and how much kindness matters.

Collaboration

This is not a solo mission. Our work is shaped by clinicians, doctors, researchers, storytellers, survivors, and supporters who bring truth and trust to the table.

No Judgment. Ever.

Whether you’re learning, healing, struggling, or just starting to understand, you belong here. No shame. No blame. Just space to grow.
